Insider News : Pro QC Celebrates Chinese New Year – Welcome Year of the Tiger

Chinese New Year is considered to be the most celebrated and longest holiday in China. An important time for families, the New Year’s Eve dinner is the biggest of the year, similar to Thanksgiving in the U.S. Celebrations include giving Hongbao (a red envelope with money it), fireworks, spending time with relatives and friends, as well as dragon and lion dancing.

As many of our clients know, Chinese New Year can also be a hectic time for businesses. All banks, shipping companies, offices and factories are closed for at least the first two weeks. With 1.4 billion people on holiday, planning and avoiding delays in shipments becomes quite a task.

At Pro QC, we work with clients and factories to schedule services in advance and do whatever necessary to avoid delays. And, we joyfully welcome the New Year with our team in the region!
